Ilton is a Somerset village nestled between the Blackdown Hills and Somerset Levels, just off the A358. Most visitors arrive via this main route from Taunton (15km north) or connect from the M5. The A303 provides east-west access for longer journeys. With over 50 EV charging points nearby and good links to Ilminster and surrounding villages, it's well-connected despite its rural setting. The village retains medieval strip lynchets - ancient farming terraces still visible on the surrounding hillsides.
