Ickwell is a small Bedfordshire village reached via Junction 10 of the A1, then 8km west through Northill, or from Bedford via the A600 and country lanes through Old Warden. The village sits amid typical East Midlands farmland, with good EV charging nearby. The historic green features England's oldest recorded maypole, still used for May Day morris dancing after 400 years.
