Husabost occupies a remote spot on Skye's Trotternish Peninsula, reached via the A87 and A856 before single-track roads with passing places. Most visitors combine it with Highland tours from Inverness or ferry connections at nearby Uig, whilst locals make short trips to Portree for services. The settlement provides access to hidden sea caves carved from Jurassic limestone along the dramatic Atlantic coastline.
