Hunslet lies just south of Leeds city centre along the River Aire, easily reached via the M621 which cuts straight through the district. The A61 provides the main route from Leeds centre toward Sheffield, whilst local roads like Crown Point Road handle shorter journeys within the city. Electric vehicle drivers will find over 300 public fast chargers across the Leeds area. The massive IKEA Leeds warehouse has become Hunslet's most recognisable landmark, its distinctive blue facade visible from the motorway.
