Huish is a small Devon village between Hatherleigh and Great Torrington, reached via the A386 from Bideford or the A377/A386 from Exeter (45km). Local routes connect through Merton and Petrockstow, whilst the B3217 provides eastern access through Dolton. The 13th-century church of St. James contains a rare medieval rood screen with original painted saint panels.
