Howey is a small community near Llandrindod Wells in Powys, reached via the A483 from Builth Wells or Newtown. The A44 from Rhayader provides the main eastern approach, whilst the A470 connects from the west. About 15 public fast chargers serve electric vehicles in the area. The village boasts a remarkably ornate Victorian Gothic Revival railway station with elaborate stonework.
