Hothfield is a small Kent village 8km southwest of Ashford, accessed via the A20 from Junction 9 of the M20. Popular with commuters to Ashford and weekend drivers exploring the countryside, it sits amid the rolling Weald landscape. The village is notable for Hothfield Heathlands nature reserve, where grazing ponies maintain a rare fragment of lowland heath.
