Horpit forms part of Swindon's outer residential area, positioned where the town meets the North Wessex Downs. Access is straightforward via the A419 from Junction 15 of the M4, with good links to both the Cotswolds and Vale of White Horse. The area serves as a quieter base for exploring Wiltshire whilst maintaining excellent transport connections. Swindon's Victorian Turkish baths, dating from the 1890s, remain one of Britain's finest surviving examples of their type.
