Hook Norton is a north Oxfordshire village famous for its independent brewery, which has operated since 1849. Reach it via the A361 from Banbury (8 miles) or Chipping Norton (6 miles), with good connections to the M40 at Junction 11. The village sits in typical Cotswolds-edge countryside of limestone hills and mixed farmland. The brewery still uses shire horses for local deliveries, so you'll often hear hooves on the village streets.
