Honley

England

England

Honley is a former mill village in West Yorkshire's Holme Valley, about 4 miles southwest of Huddersfield. The A6024 Woodhead Road runs straight through it, connecting Huddersfield to the Peak District, whilst the M62 Junction 23 provides motorway access. Popular local routes include the scenic drive to Holmfirth and connections to surrounding mill towns. The village's most striking feature is its Victorian railway viaduct carrying the Penistone Line, which creates a dramatic stone archway above the village centre.
