Hobbister sits on Mainland Orkney's western coast, overlooking Scapa Flow about 15km southwest of Kirkwall. Reach it via the A964 from the main A965 ring road, either from Kirkwall Airport or the Stromness ferry terminal. The area has over 30 EV charging points and offers views of the Churchill Barriers, the wartime concrete causeways that now link Orkney's southern islands.
