Highfield is a small Devon village in the Blackdown Hills, reached via the A30 from Exeter then the A373 towards Honiton. Local routes include the B3174 from Cullompton or through Hemyock from the M5. It's popular with walkers exploring the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and sits near Dunkeswell Airfield, now a civilian airport and major skydiving centre.
