High Moorsley is a small Durham village between Hetton-le-Hole and the Pittington settlements. Reach it via the A690 from Durham (6 miles west) or Sunderland (8 miles east), or from the A1(M) at Junction 62. The preserved Pithead Baths building, now an auto parts shop, still displays its original colliery-era walls and railings.
