High Burnside is a South Lanarkshire residential area about 8km southeast of Glasgow city centre, reached via the A724 through Rutherglen or from M74 junctions 1-2. The area sits on typical central Scottish rolling terrain and connects easily to neighbouring communities like Springhall and Cambuslang. It's near the historic Bothwell Bridge, where Covenanters fought in 1679.
