Henstead

Henstead is a small Suffolk village about 4 miles southwest of Lowestoft, reached via the A12 and local roads through Kessingland or Wrentham. London drivers follow the A12 for 120 miles, whilst regional visitors often use the A146 from Norwich via Beccles. The village sits in typical East Anglian farmland with a notably dry climate. All Saints Church houses remarkable 14th-century wall paintings that survived the Reformation.
