England
Hemdean Bottom is a quiet residential area in the Thames Valley, just north of Reading where the Chiltern Hills begin to rise. The A4074 provides the main access from Reading and connects directly to the M4 motorway three kilometers south, making it convenient for both local trips around the Reading area and longer journeys to London or Oxford. With approximately 200 EV charging points nearby in Reading, it's well-suited for electric vehicle owners. The area takes its name from sitting in a natural valley depression, with "bottom" being the traditional English term for a hollow between hills.
