Headstone forms part of Harrow in northwest London, easily reached via the A404 and A4040 from the M25 or central London. The A312 provides north-south access, whilst the A40 offers a direct route from town. With over 7,600 fast chargers across Greater London and Heathrow just 15 kilometres away, it's well-connected for modern travel. The area's name derives from an ancient parish boundary stone, fragments of which remain in the local churchyard.
