Hazeleigh is a small Essex village positioned between Maldon and the coastal marshes, serving as a rural waypoint for drivers heading to the Dengie Peninsula. The B1010 provides the main connection, linking north to Maldon and south toward Burnham-on-Crouch, whilst the village sits about 15 kilometres from both Chelmsford and the coast. The Norman church of All Saints retains its original 12th-century carved doorway.
