Haydon Wick forms part of north Swindon, sitting just off the M4 at Junction 15. The A419 runs nearby, connecting to Cirencester and the Cotswolds, whilst local roads link neighbouring areas like Moredon and Blunsdon. Most visitors arrive via Swindon's rail connections or the motorway network. The area retains traces of the old Wilts & Berks Canal, which once carried barges between the Thames and Bristol Avon before closing in 1914.
