Hawksdale is a small Cumbrian settlement near Carlisle, reached via the A595 and local roads through Dalston. The area sits close to Carlisle Lake District Airport and offers easy access to both the northern Lakes and Scottish Borders. The countryside around here holds remnants of a Roman bath house from Hadrian's Wall mile 56.
