Hascombe is a small Surrey village nestled in the hills southwest of Guildford, reached via the A3 and local roads through Godalming. The narrow lanes wind through wooded countryside typical of the Surrey Hills, with the 13th-century St Peter's Church at its heart. The church contains remarkable medieval wall paintings of St Christopher's life, discovered during 1930s restoration work.
