Hart
England
Hart is a former County Durham mining village turned residential area, sitting six kilometres west of Hartlepool via the A179. Most visitors use the A19 to A179 junction, whilst the A689 provides western access from Bishop Auckland and the A1(M). The village serves surrounding settlements like Dalton Piercy through local road networks. The preserved Grade II listed Pithead Baths building remains Hart's most distinctive landmark from its colliery days.
