Hardendale lies in Cumbria's Eden Valley, positioned on the A6 between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The M6 Junction 38 provides motorway access, whilst the historic A6 runs through the town centre. With roughly 18 fast EV chargers available, it's well-equipped for touring traffic between Scotland and the southern Lakes. The parish church houses a remarkable Saxon cross shaft with pre-Norman knotwork carvings.
