Happisburgh

Happisburgh perches on Norfolk's eroding coastline, reached via the A149 coast road from Cromer or Great Yarmouth, or the A1151 from Norwich through Stalham. The village exemplifies England's coastal erosion crisis, with dramatic cliff-top views and traditional flint architecture. Its distinctive red and white lighthouse, dating from 1790, remains East Anglia's oldest working beacon.
