Hambridge is a small Somerset village nestled in the Levels between Langport and Curry Rivel. Reach it via the A378 from either direction, or from the M5 junction 23 through Bridgwater. The A303 lies just 8 miles south for longer journeys. Winter flooding can affect local roads in this low-lying area. The 13th-century church of St. James houses a remarkably preserved medieval stone rood screen.
