Halwell is a South Devon village sitting between Totnes and Kingsbridge, reached via the A381 and local lanes connecting to the A38. Popular routes include scenic drives to Kingsbridge (8 miles) and historic Totnes (6 miles), whilst the A38 links to Plymouth and Exeter for longer journeys. The village's 13th-century church houses remarkable medieval wall paintings discovered during 1960s restoration work.
