Hallin occupies a remote corner of Skye's Waternish Peninsula, reached via the A87 and A850 before joining the B886. The area experiences typical Hebridean weather with frequent Atlantic storms. Approximately three EV charging points serve the peninsula's scattered communities. The 1862 Waternish Point lighthouse marks the peninsula's dramatic terminus, its beam reaching 18 nautical miles across the Little Minch.
