Gweek

Gweek is a small Cornish village on the Helford River, reached via the A3083 from Helston. It's popular with day visitors from Falmouth and Truro, plus tourists heading to the Lizard Peninsula. The sheltered river location creates an unusually mild climate for Cornwall. The village houses the National Seal Sanctuary, which has been caring for rescued seals since 1958.
