Gunwalloe perches on Cornwall's wild southwestern coast, about 6km from Helston via the A394 and winding country lanes. Most visitors arrive from Truro (45 minutes) or Plymouth (90 minutes) along the A38 and A394, whilst locals navigate narrow roads from nearby villages. The medieval church of St. Winwaloe sits remarkably built into the beach rocks at Church Cove, still holding services after 500 years despite winter storm flooding.
