Guardbridge
Scotland
Scotland
Guardbridge lies along the A91 in eastern Fife, 8km northwest of St Andrews where the road crosses the River Eden. The A91 connects Stirling to St Andrews, whilst the nearby A92 coastal route links Dundee and Edinburgh. Most visitors approach via the M90, then follow the A91 eastward through agricultural countryside. The village sits in the Eden Valley's flat farmland, with Leuchars railway station 2km north providing direct rail links to Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Electric vehicle charging is readily available with over 100 fast chargers nearby. The village's medieval stone bridge, which gives Guardbridge its name, still spans the River Eden on the ancient pilgrimage route to St Andrews.
