Groomsport is a small coastal village 4km northeast of Bangor on Belfast Lough. Take the A2 from Belfast via Bangor, or the A21 from Newtownards for a scenic inland route. The village sits beneath the Antrim Hills where local fishing boats still land daily catches of prawns and whitefish at the working harbour.
