Greshornish

Scotland

Scotland

Greshornish is a small Highland settlement on Skye's northwest coast, about 15 miles from Portree via the A850 and local roads. Most visitors arrive via the Skye Bridge, though the Mallaig ferry route offers more dramatic scenery. The village overlooks Loch Greshornish from a peninsula whose distinctive shape inspired its Old Norse name meaning "pig's horn point."
