Grayrigg is a small Cumbrian village in the Lune Valley, reached via the A685 from M6 Junction 37. The A684 and B6257 provide alternative routes through this peaceful farming area between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The village retains its Victorian Public Wash House and Baths, a rare surviving example of 19th-century community facilities.
