Grahamston forms part of Falkirk's urban area in central Scotland, connected via Junction 6 of the M9 motorway. The A803 provides local access, whilst the M8 and M90 bring long-distance traffic from Glasgow and Perth respectively. Electric vehicle charging is well-served with over 100 public fast chargers nearby. The area developed around historic railway works that once maintained locomotives for Scotland's rail network.
