Gourock perches on the Clyde's south shore, serving ferries to Dunoon and the western isles. The A78 runs straight to Glasgow in 40 minutes, whilst the coastal route south toward Ayr offers splendid views. With over 50 rapid charging points locally, it's well-sorted for electric cars. The town's Victorian stone pier stretches 600 metres into the firth—one of Scotland's longest.
