Golfhill lies in North Lanarkshire, just outside Airdrie in Scotland's central belt. The M8 provides the main connection via the A73 through Airdrie, whilst the A89 offers an eastern approach. Glasgow sits 20km southwest via the M8. Over 200 EV charging points serve the wider area, particularly around Airdrie and the M8 corridor. The surrounding settlements were originally built as mining communities for the historic Monkland coalfield.
