Goldenhill forms part of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire's former coalfield, easily reached via the A527 from M6 junctions 15 or 16. The red brick terraces climb gentle hills where mining communities once thrived, now serving commuters to Stoke city centre and surrounding business parks. The preserved Chatterley Whitfield pithead baths remain as a striking reminder of the area's industrial past.
