Golcar is a former textile village in West Yorkshire's Colne Valley, now part of greater Huddersfield. Reach it via the A62 from Huddersfield town centre or the A640 from Junction 23 of the M62. The village sits on elevated ground with excellent Pennine views, and there are over 100 EV charging points in the area. The Colne Valley Museum occupies three original weavers' cottages, showing authentic cramped Victorian working-class living conditions.
