Glenlivet lies deep in Speyside whisky country, reached via the A95 and B9008 through Tomintoul, or the B9136 from Ballindalloch. The village sits amongst rolling Moray hills where the River Livet creates ideal conditions for whisky making. About six EV chargers serve the wider area. The Glenlivet Distillery, founded in 1824, remains Scotland's second best-selling single malt producer.
