Glenboig is a North Lanarkshire village about 15km northeast of Glasgow, reached via the M8 to Junction 8, then the A89 through Coatbridge. Local routes include the A752 from Airdrie, whilst Edinburgh visitors follow the M8 west for roughly 65km. The area has over 250 EV charging points nearby. The village is famous for its historic brickworks, which has produced distinctive red clay bricks for Scottish buildings since the 1800s.
