Gledhow occupies Leeds' affluent north side between Roundhay and Chapel Allerton, easily reached via the A61 Harrogate Road from the city center or A58 from the east. The A1(M) provides motorway access 15 minutes away, whilst Leeds Bradford Airport lies 20 minutes northwest. With over 250 EV charging points nearby and Roundhay Park on the doorstep, it's particularly popular with families. The name derives from "glede hoh" - Old English for "kite hill" - after the red kites that once circled overhead.
