Glaston is a small Rutland village just off the A47 between Leicester and Peterborough, surrounded by typical rolling countryside. Most reach it via the A47, with local routes connecting to Uppingham 4km south and Stamford to the north. The 13th-century St Andrew's church houses a rare medieval stone rood screen, one of the few surviving examples in English parish churches.
