Giffnock is an affluent suburb in East Renfrewshire, 8km south of Glasgow city centre via the A77. The M77 motorway provides excellent connections for longer journeys, whilst local routes include the B767 Fenwick Road. Glasgow Airport is 25km northwest. The area features Rouken Glen Park with its dramatic 30-foot waterfall cascading over red sandstone cliffs.
