Germansweek is a small Devon village about 6 miles northeast of Okehampton, reached via the A30 and A386 before turning onto local lanes through Halwill Junction. The area has roughly 17 EV charging points nearby, mainly in Okehampton and along the A30. The village's distinctive name comes from a Saxon landowner called German who once held this "week" or outlying settlement.
