Gavinton is a small Borders village three kilometres from Duns, reached via the A6105 from the Edinburgh-Newcastle A68 corridor or the A6112 from Coldstream. It's handy for exploring the Borders abbeys or as a stopping point between England and Scotland, with about 10 EV charging points nearby. The village church houses a medieval font that's older than the building itself.
