Garynahine

Scotland

Scotland

Garynahine sits on Lewis's west coast, just 2km from the famous Callanish Standing Stones. The A858 connects it to Stornoway (20km east) and continues to the dramatic Atlantic coastline. Most visitors arrive by ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway, then drive west across the island's distinctive peat moorland dotted with countless lochs. The village's small harbour still shelters traditional fishing boats alongside modern vessels.
