Gartlea is a small North Lanarkshire community just outside Airdrie, about 15 kilometres east of Glasgow. Access via M8 Junction 5 at Shotts, with the A89 providing local connections to Airdrie and surrounding towns. The area has over 150 public fast EV charging points. Original miners' cottages from the coal mining era still line the older residential streets.
