Garrafrauns is a small coastal spot in County Galway, sitting about 15 kilometres southwest of Galway city along Galway Bay. Take the R336 through Salthill and Barna for a grand 20-minute drive with lovely views across to the Aran Islands. From Dublin, it's the M6 west to Galway, then pick up the R336. The traditional stone walls here have been marking field boundaries for centuries, creating that classic patchwork look you'll see all over the west. There are about 18 fast EV chargers around Galway city for electric cars.
