Furringdons Cross

Furringdons Cross is a small Somerset settlement near the Dorset border, accessible via the A30 from Crewkerne or A3088 from Yeovil. The A303 provides long-distance connections about 10km north. Rural B-roads link nearby villages, with RNAS Yeovilton 15km northeast creating occasional military aircraft overhead. An old stone marker still marks the original drovers' crossroads.
