Frost Row lies in rural Norfolk, just outside Hingham on the old drovers' routes between Thetford and Diss. Most reach it via the A1066 or through Hingham from the A47. The surrounding countryside of gentle farmland and copses can be particularly atmospheric on clear winter mornings when heavy frost settles across the fields, explaining the settlement's distinctive name.
